How to Inject Your Medication
Injection Guide
Follow these simple steps to safely and confidently self-inject your personalized treatment. Always refer to your provider’s instructions and reach out to the Ezra team if you have any questions.
Wash Your Hands
Start by washing your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water. This is an essential first step to maintain a sterile environment and reduce the risk of infection.
Clean Your Injection Site
Select your injection site—typically the abdomen (at least 2 inches away from the navel) or the upper thigh. Use a fresh alcohol pad to clean the area and allow it to air dry completely before proceeding.
Fill Your Syringe with the Correct Dose
Using your dosing chart and prescription, draw up the exact amount prescribed by your provider. Always double-check your dose before proceeding. If using a pen, dial in the correct dose as instructed.
Inject
Insert the needle into your chosen injection site at a 90-degree angle (or as directed by your provider). Press the plunger slowly and steadily to administer the full dose. Remove the needle and safely dispose of it in a sharps container
